Same Air / نفس الهواء

A group exhibition featuring fourteen artists of and connected to the Gulf, the exhibition includes works produced in direct response to a shared moment of disruption.

Over the last month, the selected artists, all rooted in the region, returned to their studios without a prescribed theme or formal directive. The works that came forth are unfinished, unresolved, and in motion, spanning multiple media and expressive forms. They are connected by the conditions of their making: the same place, the same moment, the same air. They are different because no two people breathe the same way under pressure. The exhibition, presented online and in the gallery, acts as a living record of how this moment is being absorbed, processed and mediated by those breathing within it
