A pocket-sized limited edition published by artPost Books, London, in association with Tabari Artspace, accompanying Fellow Travellers, curated by Dr Omar Kholeif at Tabari Artspace, DIFC.
The book carries Kholeif's curatorial essay alongside original poetry written for the project. The exhibition gathers Sonia Balassanian, Jai Chuhan, Luísa Correia Pereira, Lalitha Lajmi and Irene Scheinmann — artists whose practices were built largely outside the attention of the institutions now catching up with them, and whose paths cross around questions of migration, inheritance and the long view of a working life.
