The Global (e) Resistance
Musée - Niveau 4 - Galerie d'art graphique, Musée - Niveau 4 - Galerie du Musée, Forum, Musée - Niveau 4 - Galerie 0 - Espace prospectif - Centre Pompidou, Paris
We are delighted to announce that several works by Hazem Harb, including collages and an installation, will be exhibited as part of The Global (e) Resistance, an exhibition that unveils for the first time the works of more than sixty artists gathered over the past decade, most of them from the South (Africa, Middle East, Asia, America Latin) and sets itself the ambition of examining contemporary strategies of resistance. Harb's work which continues to probe occupation and imperialism through the remediation of ephemera from the Palestinian context neatly reflects the sentiments of Global (e) Resistance which also poses theoretical questions that range from the articulation of aesthetics and politics to the very relationship of the museum to politics within the art worlds.
