Saeed Saeed's report for The National covers Deja Vu, the collaborative exhibition staged at Concrete in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai, which drew around twenty UAE galleries into a single presentation after a disrupted spring season. Tabari is listed among the participating venues, one of the few taking part from outside Alserkal Avenue, and is identified by its base at Dubai International Financial Centre.
The article frames the show as a response to a season interrupted by conflict in the region, with galleries pooling resources rather than mounting separate programmes. Curated by Zaina Zaarour with co-curators Kevin Jones and Nada Raza, Deja Vu organises its selection around historical absurdity, the uncanny and the breakdown of language, and ran until 8 May 2026. Sixteen of the participating galleries are Alserkal Avenue tenants; the rest come from elsewhere in the Emirates, including Nika Project Space and Total Arts at The Courtyard, Tabari in DIFC and Iris Projects in Abu Dhabi. Works discussed in the piece arrive by way of Carbon 12, Gallery Isabelle, Iris Projects, Ayyam Gallery, Lawrie Shabibi and Leila Heller Gallery, with artists including Michael Sailstorfer, Vikram Divecha, Raed Yassin, Rula Halawani and Sadik Kwaish Alfraji.
