Observer's report 'At Saudi Arabia's Diriyah Biennale, Art Moves in Procession' covers the second Diriyah Contemporary Art Biennale, organised by the Diriyah Biennale Foundation and staged across the historic mudbrick warehouses of Riyadh's JAX District into February 2026.
The biennale brought together more than sixty artists from over thirty countries working across painting, sculpture, sound, film and installation, with programming built around processions, live performance and site-specific commissions staged through the district's courtyards and covered streets.
Hazem Harb, represented by Tabari Artspace, is named on the Diriyah Biennale Foundation's own published artist list for the 2026 edition, continuing a run of biennial and fair appearances that has also included the Sharjah Biennial and the inaugural Art Basel Qatar.
